Established in 2018, we are dedicated to advancing research and knowledge in business, economics, and social sciences through international collaboration.
Back to HomeCIBES Research Centre was established by a group of international academics from the UK, Turkey, and other European countries with a vision to create a collaborative platform for researchers in business and economics.
The founding team included Dr. James Wilson, Dr. Sarah Johnson, and Dr. Michael Chen, who recognized the need for a research center that bridges different academic traditions and methodologies.
The Centre organized its first international conference in London, bringing together over 150 researchers from 25 countries to discuss emerging trends in business and economics research.
This event marked the beginning of CIBES's reputation as a hub for international academic collaboration.
CIBES launched its first academic journal, "Economics, Business and Organization Research," providing a platform for researchers to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed studies.
The Centre also established partnerships with several international publishers to support book projects and special editions.
The Centre expanded its international network by establishing formal partnerships with research institutions across Europe, North America, and Asia.
These partnerships facilitated joint research projects, visiting scholar programs, and collaborative publications.
CIBES launched the SABEM (Social and Business Economics Meeting) conference series, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches to economic and social challenges.
The inaugural conference attracted over 300 participants and established SABEM as a premier academic event.
In recent years, CIBES has continued to grow its membership base, expand its publication portfolio, and enhance its international presence.
The Centre now supports multiple research streams, special interest groups, and thematic networks focusing on contemporary challenges in business and economics.
CIBES Research Centre aims to facilitate and promote high-quality research in business, economics, and social sciences through international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and publication opportunities.
We strive to create a platform where researchers can share their findings, collaborate on projects, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their respective fields.
To become a leading international research center that bridges academic research with practical applications, fostering innovation and addressing contemporary challenges in business and economics.
We envision a global community of researchers working together to develop solutions to complex economic and social issues through rigorous academic inquiry and cross-disciplinary approaches.
